Terms & Conditions

Welcome to Rydo Grocery. These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Rydo Grocery mobile application, website at grocery.rydoapp.in, and all related services (the "Service"), operated by InfoSkills Technology Pvt Ltd (CIN: U72900UP2020PTC130521) ("we", "our", or "us").

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility

  • You must be at least 18 years of age to use the Service
  • By creating an account, you represent that the information you provide is accurate, current, and complete
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials

2. Account Registration

  • You may register using your phone number, email address, or Google Sign-In
  • One account per person. Multiple accounts for the same individual may be suspended without notice
  • You are solely responsible for all activity that occurs under your account
  • Notify us immediately at info@rydoapp.in if you suspect unauthorized access to your account

3. Orders & Delivery

  • All orders placed through the Service constitute an offer to purchase. We reserve the right to accept or reject any order
  • Product prices, availability, and descriptions are provided by partner stores and are subject to change without notice
  • Estimated delivery times are approximate and may vary based on store preparation time, traffic, weather, and delivery partner availability
  • We may substitute products of equal or greater value if the original item is unavailable, subject to your approval during order processing
  • You must provide accurate delivery address, contact details, and be available to receive your order at the specified address
  • Images of products are for illustrative purposes only. Actual products may vary slightly in appearance

4. Pricing & Payments

  • All prices are listed in Indian Rupees (INR) and include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise
  • Delivery charges, packaging fees, and any applicable service charges will be displayed at checkout before you confirm the order
  • Payments are processed securely through PayU and Razorpay. Accepted methods include UPI, credit/debit cards, net banking, wallets, and cash on delivery (where available)
  • Promotional offers, coupons, and discounts are subject to their specific terms and may be modified or discontinued at any time
  • In the event of a payment failure, the order will not be processed. Any amount debited will be refunded within 5–7 business days
  • We will never store your full card data on our servers. All payment card data is handled entirely by our PCI-DSS compliant payment processors

5. Food Safety & Vendor Compliance

Rydo Grocery operates as an E-Commerce Food Business Operator (FBO) under the Food Safety and Standards Act, 2006. By using the platform, you acknowledge that:

  • All food products listed on the platform are sold by FSSAI-licensed third-party vendors. Each vendor is individually responsible for the quality, safety, and compliance of their products
  • Every vendor on the platform is required to hold a valid FSSAI license or registration. The vendor's FSSAI license number is displayed on their storefront and product listings
  • InfoSkills Technology Pvt Ltd does not manufacture, process, store, or handle any food products. We operate solely as a technology marketplace platform
  • We maintain traceability records linking every food product sold to the specific vendor, including order details and delivery records
  • Vendors with expired or invalid FSSAI licenses are automatically suspended from selling food products on the platform
  • If you have concerns about the safety or quality of any food product, please report it immediately through the app or contact us at info@rydoapp.in

6. Cancellation & Refund Policy

  • Before Store Confirmation: Orders can be cancelled at no charge before the store has started preparing them
  • After Store Confirmation: Cancellations may attract a cancellation fee depending on the preparation stage
  • After Dispatch: Orders that have been dispatched cannot be cancelled
  • Refunds: Approved refunds will be credited to the original payment method within 5–7 business days. For Cash on Delivery orders, refunds will be issued to your linked UPI or bank account
  • Quality Issues: If you receive damaged, expired, or incorrect products, report the issue within 24 hours of delivery. We will arrange a replacement or full refund after verification
  • Non-Returnable Items: Perishable items (fresh produce, dairy, frozen goods) cannot be returned once delivered, unless they arrive damaged or expired

7. Scheduled Deliveries & Subscriptions

  • You may schedule recurring deliveries for specific days and time slots
  • Scheduled orders with UPI Autopay or card subscriptions are charged automatically as per the schedule
  • You may modify or cancel a scheduled delivery at least 12 hours before the scheduled time
  • Subscription plans are auto-renewed unless cancelled. You can manage subscriptions from your account settings

8. User Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or to violate any laws
  • Provide false, misleading, or fraudulent information
  • Abuse promotional offers, coupons, or referral programmes
  • Harass, threaten, or behave inappropriately towards delivery partners, store staff, or other users
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other accounts, or our systems
  • Scrape, reverse-engineer, or interfere with the Service's infrastructure or security features
  • Post abusive, defamatory, or obscene content in reviews, chat, or any communication channel

Violation of these rules may result in suspension or permanent ban from the Service without prior notice.

9. Intellectual Property

  • The Service, including its design, logos, text, graphics, and software, is owned by or licensed to InfoSkills Technology Pvt Ltd and is protected by intellectual property laws
  • You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the Service without our prior written consent
  • "Rydo Grocery" and associated logos are trademarks of InfoSkills Technology Pvt Ltd. Unauthorized use is prohibited

10. Limitation of Liability

  • The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind
  • We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service
  • Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the specific order giving rise to the claim
  • We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation of the Service
  • We are not responsible for the quality of products sold by partner stores—any quality concerns should be directed to us for mediation

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless InfoSkills Technology Pvt Ltd, its directors, employees, and agents from any claims, losses, damages, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any third-party rights.

12. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

  • These Terms are governed by the laws of India
  • Any disputes shall first be attempted to be resolved amicably through negotiation
  • If unresolved, disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Bulandshahar, Uttar Pradesh, India

13. Modifications to the Service & Terms

  • We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time
  • We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified via the app or email
  • Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms
